A Month of Prayer for Walsall

CLICK on the picture to access a simple monthly prayer diary. This month we are calling on all in Walsall to pray with a specific focus on the Coronavirus. Each day has a different area to pray for.

DailyHOPE free phone line

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has launched a free national phoneline as a simple new way to bring worship and prayer into people’s homes while church buildings are closed because of the coronavirus. It offers music, prayers and reflections as well as full worship services from the Church of England at the end of a telephone line.

St John's Running Costs

We are unable to fundraise at the moment; however Church goes on and our bills still have to be paid and there are no bailouts available. We are totally reliant on you to help us continue our work. We want to build love and unity in our community. Please help us by being a part of this growth in love. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails, with all money going directly to the charity. You can also Giftaid your donation.

Church Community

Bringing people together - not just on Sundays

Praise & Worship

We blend modern and traditional music at St John's. From Taizé to uplifting worship and everything in between, our focus is on helping you feel God's presence through music.

We passionately believe in the power of prayer and its impact on our community and our world. We meet regularly to pray, and we have prayer chains around the community.

Bible study

We believe that the bible is the word of God, and it's as relevant for today as ever. Bible study encourages and challenges us to make an impact on the world.

We know it's not always possible to get to church - so we're building a community online too.

If you're struggling to get out and about, or you're working at the weekend, we're here for you too.

About us

We're a church that loves God and loves people - everyone is welcome.

We have a strong sense of community and close links to local schools. Adults and children of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to learn about their own faith and the role of the church in our community and worldwide.
